Detailed Description: Over the last decade, open access publishing has exploded. In this workshop, participants will learn about how to locate high quality, peer-reviewed open access journals in their field and avoid vanity presses or predatory journals that are taking advantage of the open access business model. Participants will also learn about what to consider before publishing their own open access journal and how the Open Journal System at UF can be utilized to publish their own journal.<br>
